A magazine with
a little soul.
The Chihuahua is an independent magazine and community project founded by Louise in memory of Sparky.
What we publish
Care and training guides, reader stories and updates about Sparky’s book. Our tone is affectionate; our advice aims to treat small dogs’ needs seriously.
How guides are made
Launch guides were drafted with AI assistance and checked against the named sources on each page. They are not reviewed by a veterinarian and do not diagnose or prescribe. Source dates and publication dates are shown. Health articles should be reviewed when advice changes and at least every six months.
Corrections
Use the contact route to flag a factual issue, quoting the article title and the passage concerned. Material corrections should be noted on the article.
Reader stories
Entries are moderated. We may edit for length and clarity, but do not invent experiences or imply that a featured dog endorses a product. Submitting does not guarantee publication.
Commercial independence
There are no affiliate links, paid placements or live gift products at launch. If introduced, commissions and sponsored content must be disclosed clearly beside the relevant content. A commercial relationship must not decide a health recommendation.
